Frequently Asked Questions
-
After receipt of the deposit, how quickly will I be able to enjoy my system?
Typical lead time varries from 8 to 12 weeks depending on what time of year it is, as well as the material selections that are made. We will always communicate updates to you as we receive them.
-
What type of deposit is required?
We require a 50% deposit in order to submit your system to our manufacturer. The next 25% is due when the system ships. And the final 25% will be due after installation.
-
What type of payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, debit or credit card, and checks from either the individual that owns the home or business.
-
How much should I expect to spend?
While this is a phenomenal question, the cost of a system varies based off of the height / width of the system(s), as well as the clients preference on motorized or manual.
-
What are the wind restrictions for exterior screens?
Recommended wind tolerances are based on a variety of factors:
- Style of screen: cable/rod guided versus track systems. Track stystems have a higher wind tolerance, and seal off your space more. While cable and rod guided systems will bellow with wind, they are still capable of comfortably handling 10-15 mph winds. A 10' x 10' track screen can withstand approximately 24 mph winds before we would recommend raining the screens. We offer automatic wind sensors for our motorized screen systems.
- Size of screen - this metric varies based off of both the height and the width of each unit and can be assessed prior to install.
- Material density - while this factor is minor in comparison to the other two, the density of the screening material will also affect the screens ability to withstand winds.
